If I have ever talked to you about my home, I have told you about these grapes. These grapes taste like childhood. Some of my fondest memories of living in the Land of Enchantment involve hot summer afternoons in our ever evolving back yard, picking these grapes straight off the vine and spoiling my appetite by eating so many. They taste like nothing you can buy in a store; velvety skins and sugary centers - essentially nature made candy. They are, and always will be, one of my favorite foods on this earth.
Today I picked every last one off the vine, and as I attempted to eat my body weight in sugary goodness, I was reminded that oftentimes the earth can create things much more healing than man could ever compose.
